Chelsea manager,Jose Mourinho has once again retiterated his desire to sign Manchester United striker,Wayne Rooney. Rooney’s future has been subject to speculation, after it emerged
last season that the striker wants to seek other challenges somewhere
else. Chelsea are believed to have made Rooney, their number one transfer
target, with Mourinho admitting that he is the sort of player he would
love to have in his team.
”Rooney is a player I like very much but I can say no more than
that. Being fast and direct, I like that, but he’s a Manchester United
player,” Mourinho said. The 27-year old left Manchester United’s training tour in Bangkok, after he tore his hamstring and would be out for a month.
But Manchester United manager,David Moyes on Friday, reiterated that the club will not sell Rooney.
“I think I have really covered all the things on Wayne. Manchester United is about a team, not one individual.” “Unless I was speaking Double Dutch I said Wayne Rooney is not for sale,” Moyes said.
