The future of Nigerian international,John Obi Mikel,is subject to
another speculation, with The SunUK reporting that the midfielder is
being linked with a move to Turkish side,Trabzonspor.
Mikel was heavily with a transfer to Turkish giants,Galatasary, who wants to sign him to replace Felipe Melo in the midfield.
Despite crashing out in the group stages, the 26-year old played a
sterling role for Nigeria,at the 2013 FIFA Confederations where he
bagged a spectacular goal against Uruguay. Mikel during the competition, denied media reports that he was set
to move to Turkey, but later admitted that he is unsure about his future
and could leave Chelsea. There would be keen fights for a place in Chelsea’s midfield next
season, following the return of Jose Mourinho to the club on a second
spell.
Michael Essien has finished out his loan deal at Real Madrid and is
back at the club, with Chelsea also securing the services of Dutch
youngster,Van Ginkel. Should Mikel, who is rated at £16million weigh up his options and consider a move elsewhere?
